Nigel and Lou - The Engagement Shoot [couples photographer, newcastle upon tyne}

Monday, March 09, 2009

Yesterday I went down to the coast to shoot Nige and Lous engagement session, Nige is a great friend and if I've been at your wedding you may recognise him because he's also my assistant.

Well Nige and Lou are planning a lavish and spectacular wedding next year and I'm honoured that they want me to take care of the photography.

I have to say that this E-shoot is probably the most favourite I've ever shot and considering it was easily the coldest windiest Sunday ever just makes these images all the better.

Wanna see?

Don't they make a fabulous couple?

I adore this one

and this one too!!

Could Nige be possibly the most romantic man ever to have been present at a couples shoot?

can't wait to see them do this dip in their wedding outfits

love, love, sweet, sweet love!

I know that Nige and Lou love these and that makes me so happy because I truly wanted to do an amazing job, you two have such a once in a life time connection I really cannot wait to shoot your wedding next year.

If you would like to feel the love and book yourself a couples shoot please call me on the numbers on the banner or click through to my website.

Kerry and Matts Pre-Wedding Photoshoot - Jesmond Dene

Saturday, June 14, 2008

I met up with Kerry and Matt this morning firstly to confirm details of their wonderful wedding which is happening in July this year and also to shoot a few photographs, well it would be rude not to wouldn't it!

Let me first tell you that Kerry and Matt are one of the loveliest couples you could hope to meet, they laugh a lot and you can really feel the love with them, they're a relaxed laid back couple and they fit perfectly with my relaxed style of portraits!

Matt, the dashing groom to be.

Kerry the beautiful bride to be.

relaxing down by the river.

Love this one, it would look awesome on a big canvas, it has that aged dreamy feel that you've all come to know and love me for!

Finally this one, I love how Matts looking dreamily at Kerry while she beams into the camera!

Kerry and Matt, I can't wait for your wedding in July, Rhys and I are both looking forward to it and we'll see you 6 weeks today for the big event!! (can't wait for the Scottish dancing ;) )

Rachel and Jonathans Pre-Wedding Photoshoot, Saltwell Park, Gateshead

Wednesday, May 21, 2008

Rachel and Jonathan are getting married in August of this year so I met up with them in not so sunny Saltwell park this afternoon for their pre-wedding shoot. Despite Rachel feeling so very nervous I still got some wonderful photographs of them both.

Rachel is beautiful, slender and also has an amazing personality to match.

Jonathan is also gorgeous, he's quite meaty and has promised Rachel that his six pack will be ready for the wedding (LOL)

They simply are the adorable couple don't you think?

Yum!!

I love Rachel when she laughs, its when you see her truly relax and it is of course beautiful.

More giggling :)

We went for a walk and found lots of lovely places to shoot.

Rachel had never been to Saltwell Park and shock horror when I found out that Jonathan hasn't ever taken her on a romantic picnic!!

another lovely moment.

I love this bandstand photo, i think this is the one which would look awesome on a huge canvas!

Rachel and Jonathan, you are the adorable couple and I can't wait for your wedding in August.

Adrian and Stephs Pre-Wedding Shoot at Linden Hall, Northumberland

Sunday, May 11, 2008

Linden Hall definetly makes me feel lucky that I'm a photographer, it's a gorgeous venue up in Northumberland and I was quite awestruck by it's beauty. I was there to meet up with wonderful couple Adrian and Steph for their pre-wedding shoot, they're getting married up there in September and it was the perfect afternoon to check out all the nooks and crannies!

Aren't they a lovely couple.

They're so relaxed and cool as cucumbers these two, they're sailing onwards in their wedding countdown and enjoying every minute.

The cherry blossom was awesome today.

I bet you can't guess what these two do for a living?

You're not going to believe me when I tell you they both work in computing as they don't look in the slightest bit like techie geeks, way too cool eh?!

We took a signposted 10 minute walk, let me tell you my new yellow heels (yes I wore heels??!!) did not like the soggy path and I got stung by several nettles!! LOL

Gotta love this one, can you feel the love, are you all squidgy yet?

More cherry blossom, I love this photograph.

Thats my dreamy style you all have come to know and love!

We went inside to the magnificent building and the staircase is just phenomenal but I didn't want to spoil the wedding photographs by shooting on it today so you'll have to wait until September to see it in all it's glory.

Steph - she's gorgeous isn't she?!

and Adrian who is of course charming and handsome.

Adrian and Steph, I can't wait to shoot your wedding, you're a wonderfully warm couple who make spending time with an absolute pleasure, I hope you love these as much as I love them.

Denise and Stevens Pre-Wedding Photoshoot at St Marys Island

Saturday, May 10, 2008

I met up with Denise and Steven this afternoon on a scorcher of a day down at St Marys Island which for anyone who doesn't know is just outside of Whitley Bay on the Beautiful north east of Englands coastline.

There's something about Denise and Steven which makes you instantly want to spend time with them, they're such a great fun couple and a wonderful match for each other. I honestly got so many great photos from this session it's probably one of my most favourite sessions of the year.

so I bet you want to see some photos?

Dancing on the beach, they dance at home all the time they tell me!

Nice Dip Steven!!

Awww!

They really are a gorgeous couple.

This one is just a little more urban but I loved the Green door

This one was down a set of quite steep steps, worth the walk down them though!

Ok, this one is my quirky shot of the day, lying on my back (in a dress!!) with my camera upside down, I really wanted to get the whole lighthouse in even though I was right next to it, well I think I managed it!!

This one, well it's one of the most beautiful photographs ever because it's just filled with love.

and another wonderful moment, these 2 wonderful people laugh all the time and Denise told me that one of the reasons she's marrying Steven is because he makes her laugh every day.

Awwww again, I love Romance!

The groom to be practicing for his wedding day.

Denise, this pose is going to look fabulous when you have your wedding dress on!!

I'll end on this dreamy dip which surely deserves to be on a 6ft canvas ;)

Denise and Steven, I really can't wait to shoot your wedding in August, you two are a unique and wonderful couple, thanks so much for sharing your time with me.
