Wedding and portrait photography in north east england - August!

It's been hugely busy here and I'm loving it, it's incredibly hard work but it's also so rewarding to have so many happy people receive their lovely wedding and portrait images.

Here's my latest collection from the last couple of weeks -

I even managed a little personal photograph when I was out doing some photography in a nature reserve, I love baby animals

Phew, I think it must be time for me to take a holiday soon!

The madness of wedding season in the North East of England

When you've worked hard for so many years to become one of the top photographers in the North East of England wedding season gets crazy and this week has been no exception (I read that back and it makes me sound like I've got a big head, I haven't I promise but for the last 7 years I have worked so hard to make sure I'm ready to create incredible photos for you, I believe that everyone who comes for portraits or has a wedding should have something completely unique because you are all wonderful and unique), although I choose to only shoot a maximum of 25 weddings a year I have this year already reached my target but I love it so much I may end up taking on another two or three.

This week I booked 2 wonderful weddings, 1 for 2014 and 1 for 2015, it is never too early to secure my services because I do tend to get booked up quite quickly!

So here's what I've been working on this week with some portraits thrown in for good measure (I shoot around 40 of those a month too)

It's Wedding Season...

It really is wedding season and I am so enjoying seeing so many beautiful brides and handsome grooms on their special days.

Shot at various locations over the last 2 months this summer is creating the most amazing light, it's so nice not to have to worry about the good old british weather for a change although I am packing a tube of SPF20 at every wedding.
