It's the month we start afresh, and perhaps dear reader look back at what we did last year and so it gives me great pleasure to share with you some of my favourite moments from weddings I photographed all around Newcastle, Northumberland and the whole of the North East of England in 2013.

The madness of wedding season in the North East of England

When you've worked hard for so many years to become one of the top photographers in the North East of England wedding season gets crazy and this week has been no exception (I read that back and it makes me sound like I've got a big head, I haven't I promise but for the last 7 years I have worked so hard to make sure I'm ready to create incredible photos for you, I believe that everyone who comes for portraits or has a wedding should have something completely unique because you are all wonderful and unique), although I choose to only shoot a maximum of 25 weddings a year I have this year already reached my target but I love it so much I may end up taking on another two or three.

This week I booked 2 wonderful weddings, 1 for 2014 and 1 for 2015, it is never too early to secure my services because I do tend to get booked up quite quickly!

So here's what I've been working on this week with some portraits thrown in for good measure (I shoot around 40 of those a month too)
