What we got up to this week...

Monday, March 24, 2014

It's Monday dear reader, good time to tell you about what's been going on in the last few days.  It's actually been pretty good weather, bit chilly but you can't have everything, as long as I get my daily dose of Vitamin D it's all fine with me.

I was talking about my favourite time of day and it's this, after bathtime but before bedtime, the time we really get to chat about the day.

This is another image I've collected for my Landscape project, I love the juxtaposition of the three men

Gosh I love my daughter Abigail here, I think she's getting more beautiful and grown up by the day, she had her hair cut yesterday and now looks even more grown up!

This happens to be a favourite view of mine, again for the landscape project, it's coming along amazingly well really considering the timescales, I think it's going to make a rather nice book as well as prints, notecards and other lovely things, an Esty shop is coming soon.

All of these images (in case you're interested) were taken with the Fuji X-Pro1 and a 35mm f1.4 lens

Back tomorrow with some wonderful mini session images from this weekend in Saltwell Park and on the beach at Tynemouth Longsands.

Happy Monday everyone, it's funny how Monday never seems quite so bad now that I take a Tuesday/Wednesday off.

I caught up with Simon and Georgie on Good Friday to shoot their pre-wedding photographs, I'm shooting their wedding in June and after these shots I cannot wait, they are a super lovely couple, they're full of fun, love photography and are massively in love, it's a bit of a photographers dream really, here's just a few favourites from the shoot -

Rebecca and Joe - The wedding [wedding photographer newcastle]

Monday, April 20, 2009

On Saturday I was honoured to be a small part of Rebecca and Joes wedding. Rebecca and Joe have a love story which spans the continent as Joe is from New Zealand and has emigrated to be with Rebecca, they're a truly lovely couple and I'm excited to show just a few teasers from their wedding gallery.

Rebecca and Joe, have a wonderful time in Cyprus and I can't wait to catch up with you on your return.

The Seaside in December...

Saturday, December 29, 2007

isn't the warmest place in the world but we needed to get out and about for an hour, I've been feeling just a tad too couped up this week. I'm not used to long periods of rest anymore and quite frankly I'm now praying the phone will ring with work, there's only so many bad movies you can watch.

So this was St Mary's Island earlier today, Looks a bit chilly doesn't it! ( I uploaded these to flickr full size so do click and see the bigger versions and indeed the whole set from our hour out today)

I decided to try and get some new photos of the children for the wall and for once even though they were freezing they did actually cooperate!

This chocolate one of Looby was one of my favourites, I know she's got a cheesy grin but it was sooo unbelievably cold!

Looby and Abigail happily together.

Iain scowling, we're having issues over bedroom tidiness at the moment!

This was at the point when Paul ran away and we found him in the car listening to CD's and keeping warm, he's such a big girls blouse!!

Suffice to say we crammed a lot into a short space and thank goodness for a nice warm afternoon in the house!!
