It's Monday, my day off and here I am, sitting at my desk for the first time in days after a hugely busy working week last week, I shot way over 30 sessions from Wednesday onwards so you'll forgive me for my blogging absence.

In addition to that I also shot all of my gift guide products last Thursday, they're far from written but powered with copious rounds of toast and cups of festive hot chocolates, there's nothing really that I can't achieve.

October was a rough month for me personally, it always is, it has been for years with the same things happening over and over and I credit myself with being a moron for letting them happen.  I think my lonely heart betrays my sensible head far too often.

I've also been completely ill despite taking every vitamin in the world to keep me well, I guess it would have been much worse if I didn't take them but I'm grateful to a lovely company called Flyte who produce clean energy drinks made with the caffeine from green coffee, they offered to send me a case and it's pretty much how I made it through the week if I'm honest, unlike most energy drinks they didn't make me feel fluffy or headachy, they weren't too sweet and they didn't taste like chemicals, I would certainly drink them again, especially the green mango which was just delicious.

The Pumpkin Day photo shoots in Jesmond Dene went incredibly well, it was a day filled with the cutest tiny babies and their siblings and it was so successful that I'm doing it all again but with giant wrapped presents, some of them may even be big enough to fit a family member or pet inside one or two of the boxes.

This week I'm hoping for a nicer, gentler, kinder week, I have 2 weddings to finish editing and about 30 portrait sessions and my calendar is really filling in a crazy kind of way so if you want a session before Christmas please don't hang around.

Meet Lindsays lovely kids - Mandy Charlton, Newcastle Photographer

Lindsay wanted to get some great photographs of her kids so last week I popped up to Cramlington to meet them all.



This is Lindsays son, he told me I could only take photographs of him if I played his favourite memory pair game and won, well I have the most rubbish memory of all time, I did win a few hands though!!

and this is Lindsays lovely 2 year old little girl who is such a poppet, I love this one because she's just getting on with her own thing and playing tea parties.

she then decided to play hiding behind the curtain so we got some great shots as she popped out to say Boo!




A thoroughly fun session.

Zach and Jakes Autumnal Kids Photoshoot [kids photographer newcastle]

I've photographed these two lovely boys before, in fact it was only in August this year but mum took the photoshoot after I had a last minute cancellation. There's no doubt that these photographs are going to make the most amazing Christmas presents.







I love photographing Jake because he likes to pose and offer suggestions on how he thinks he should stand next.

I was also amazed by how much this little one has grown in the last three months.



he's got teeth and everything!!



and he can sit up by himself!!

Jessica and her Family Have a Fabulous Festive Photoshoot

Yesterday I popped across to Jessicas house to create some magical Christmas photographs which would last a lifetime.

Natasha and Hayleys Photoshoot, Newcastle Quayside 08/12/07

I met up with two delightful sisters today around the Quayside area of Newcastle upon Tyne for a special photoshoot which will provide them with this years solution to the eternal question "What should we get mum and dad for Christmas"!

Well it was a freezing cold morning and I have to give them both Kudos for not complaining a bit about sitting on cold stone and not even having long sleeves!!


Natasha and Hayley of course are both gorgeous so it wasn't too much of a challenge to get great photos.

They also both possess a wicked sense of style.
It was actually so cold and rainy that eventually we went to the Newcastle Sage Music Centre to do some indoor shots and I love this one of them by the tree.

After half an hour of warmth and shooting against some wonderful white walls it was time to brave the chill once again to get just a couple of shots on the the millenium bridge and this one is one of my favourites.
These two sisters are so much fun and I want to say a big thanks to them both for the opportunity to spend some time with them. I'm pretty sure that your parents are going to love the photos.
