It's true, this week has been somewhat crazy but you know I love it so here's my week in photos as ever and if you want to keep up with me on a daily basis do head over to my Facebook Business Page and you'll find thats where you can book yourself a mini shoot too, with Christmas approaching I am now getting busier and busier and there's very little availability if you want to have your Christmas Mini shoot in Saltwell Park.

There's also very little availabilty left for Tynemouth Longsands and I have no doubt that there'll be a similar situation with Jesmond Dene sessions as we get into the last few weeks before the big day.

If you want to buy someone a fantastic Christmas present then why not buy them a gift certificate for a mini session, it's only £20 and includes a 5x7 print, the perfect stocking filler and if you want to add on some money so they can spoil themselves with prints or a nice canvas for above the fireplace then thats fine too.

and that was the week that was, this week has already been a riot and with more mini sessions this weekend in Jesmond Dene and Saltwell Park you can be sure that I'll have lots more to share with you this time next week.

Mini Sessions, the perfect way to get beautiful family photos

Mini sessions are in full swing and if you want to book a mini session for only £20 inc a 7x5 print head over to my facebook business page and find out where I'm going to be in the next couple of weeks but be warned that you need to book up quickly because there are only limited sessions left with some dates being completely sold out, here's some of the gorgeous people I've met in the last week.

It's been another wonderful week in my little world full of amazing families with lovely smiling and sometimes charmingly cheeky children.

Here's what I've been up to in photographs.

These photos were all taken at mini sessions in Jesmond Dene, Saltwell Park or on the beach at Tynemouth Longsands.

On Saturday 17th of November I will be holding my only pre-christmas day of studio mini sessions so if you are desperate to have a studio feel to your photos get yourself booked in, just email me to book onto one.

On Sunday 18th of November I will be in Saltwell Park

On Saturday 24th of November I will be in Jesmond Dene

On Sunday 25th of November I will be in Saltwell Park

On Saturday 1st of December I will be on the beach at Tynemouth Longsands

all sessions are 30 minutes in length and cost £20 which includes a 7x5 print, a web gallery for 30 days and 15% off if you place an order in the first week.

These sessions tend to book up quite quickly but I regularly post updates about availability on my Facebook Business Page and you can book onto one of the sessions on via my page.

It's been a busy old half term...

Half Term proved to be a really busy week in our house, a combination of the children having a better social life than me, my son being home and me out photographing lots of lovely kids meant by the time I got to Monday this week my head was in a spin, I don't mind though, I'd far rather be busy than quiet.

This portrait was shot in the comfort of my clients home, some times it's just easier to photograph kids in their own home environments, if you would like to hire me to do that it's £40 for a one hour shoot in your home.

Mini shoots have continued at parks and lovely outdoor places around the north east including lots in Jesmond Dene and I even ended up in Cornthwaite Park which is in Whitburn near Sunderland.

kids really do shine when they're in they're out in places that they love, it's one of the reasons I love my job so much, even if I do have to sing a lot of nursery rhymes and also be very good at running after kids and being chased by them screaming at the top of my voice, haha

yesterday I even shot a wedding although it was only for an hour, boy did that go by quickly but it was lovely to be able to sweep in and out of someones special day and give them a unique reminder

So this weekend I'll be in Jesmond Dene on Saturday and have availability at noon, half twelve and one pm, on Sunday I'll be in Saltwell Park and only have 1 slot of availability remaining at two thirty pm

natural, fun portraits of kids in the outdoors, North East England

Here's the thing, yes you can book a studio shoot with me, I'd be only too happy, in fact I have a studio portrait day coming up on 17th of November with limited availability remaining.  I do love studio photography during winter and in certain circumstances but I love the outdoors with kids, I love lifestyle portraits of little people having fun, you take them to their favourite places, you get better photographs.

Being a North East Photographer I'm blessed that I live in an area surrounded by so many gorgeous places like Jesmond Dene, the beach at Tynemouth, Leazes park, saltwell park, heaton park, Armstrong Park, all those places are pretty much 20 minutes away from me at most and I love spending time outdoors, take Saturday, at one point there was sideways sleet, not great for cameras but the light was wonderful and the sleet looks pretty on the photos.

If you are looking to arrange a 30 minute mini session (£20 inc a 7x5) or a 60 minute session (£40 inc a 12x8) I have some availability, Tomorrow in Jesmond Dene I have availability at 1pm, 1.30pm and 2pm

On Saturday I have availability between 9.30am and noon in Jesmond Dene (the rest of the day is booked)

On Sunday I have availabilty for Tynemouth Longsands, this was only announced late yesterday and a couple of sessions are already booked, I have availability between 11.30am and 1.30pm remaining.
