5 Movies To Fall In Love With This Christmas

Christmas is almost here and I don't know about you but for me that means the long days of Twixtmas are perfect for snuggling with some chocolates and a glass of mulled wine under a cosy blanket and having a bit of a movie marathon, it's a time for letting go, it's a time for embracing your inner romantic and if you are looking for the perfect present for your someone special then when not buy her any of these fabulous movies for her or in fact all of the following movies she's bound to fall in love with!

1.Me Before You
I watched this movie last week and if you want cuddles and you have chocolate this is the movie for you, it's a love story, He's in wheelchair after a tragic accident and lets just say he's a bit of a grumpy pants, well that is until he's introduced to our heroine of the story and not just any heroine, she wears Irregular Choice shoes throughout, she's my type of gal!  Suffice to say they fall head over heels in love and I'll leave it there because there's a twist and that's the part you'll need the chocolate and the cuddles handy for, don't say I didn't warn you!

The Intern
I've never seen a bad movie with Anne Hathaway in, she's gloriously beautiful in everything she appears in and although Robert De Niro isn't who you'd expect as the male co-star of this movie, the whole thing works perfectly leaving you with all of the fuzzies and a warm feeling in your tummy, perfect for surviving a cold Decembers afternoon after a wandering hand in hand through the countryside.

In The Heart of The Sea
What do you get when you turn one of the most epic classics into a movie, you get this, It's Moby Dick on the big screen, Herman Melville's book is brought to life by legendary director and former Happy Days star Ron Howard, at 2 hrs and 2 minutes it's slightly shorter than the book and it's the perfect escape from the kids whilst you hide in your bedroom to snuggle under the covers to watch it.

Wizard of Oz
I don't even know where to start with this, it's quite simply perfection in glorious technicolour, this is one of my favourite musicals of all time, we've all seen it and loved it and if you haven't ever taken the time to sit down and watch it, do it, do it this Christmas, it's whimsical, it's fantastical and I've watched this movie too many times to count, it's only since I fell in love with Wicked that I've actually started to feel a little sorry for the Wicked Witch of the West 😉

How To Be Single
I think if you have been following this blog for any great time at all you might have already read a blog I wrote which was also called (funnily enough) I finally learned how to be single It was after watching this movie a couple of times with my best girlfriends when I realised that I was Dakota Johnson, the one who can't let go and then at then end of the movie she finally learns how to be single, this is the best gift to buy your girlfriends and then you can all sit around the TV quaffing prosecco or a seasonal snowball enjoying not only the movie but also the joy that female friendships bring with them.

Grab the mistletoe and get ready to find the perfect gift for that special someone this Christmas.
Warner Bros. has the ultimate selection, whether you’re looking for him, for her, or for festive favourites to get the whole family in the Christmas spirit.
This is a collaborative post but all views and opinions are honest, mine and yes I am a movie addict!
