Christmas with the Charltons 2010

Yes it's the yearly post Christmas post and this year I have to say that I had the best Christmas, there was much eating, drinking and general jollifications.  I didn't take very many photographs but it's always nice to have a record of some of the ones I did so here we go....

Abigail tries on her new scarf in dramatic fashion

Abigails present to me, a gorgeous framed photo from our Vow renewal, please note it was quite early and I'd only just got out of bed hence the enormous eyebags, photo taken by Abigail

Hubby being utterly chuffed at his new pen knife and torch from Laura

Every year I get hubby a new hat

Laura and the obligatory scary doll, she has several of these now, they're nearly as big as her and when they're all together they freak me out!!

Just in case you were wondering which one is which they now come with labels!

My new glamourous rubber gloves which tell the world I'm not just a scrubber!

Wearing their new Christmas dresses

Iain is looking more like a boy band member every day, I'm far too young to be this ones mum surely?

Someone got a new hat and scarf

Oh and Mittens too!

Iain lets the cat out of the bag

some of my favourite presents, love my little vintage bear

Laura models what she's going to be wearing on Boxing day

something is tickling Meandering Paul

This years festive family portrait and yes they did all choose to sit like that!

Hubby teaches Abigail to sew, and who said just a big girls blouse?!

and so from our house to yours we hope you all had the merriest of Christmases!

Christmas Working Hours and a Star Wars moment

It's approaching the time we all put our feet up, kiss under the mistletoe and pull the nearest Christmas Cracker.

This year has been my biggest ever, I shot an astounding 27 more portrait sessions this year bringing the total to 79, I'd love to get to 80 before the new year if anyone wants to book one!!

In the run up to Christmas I am now booked Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday so if you're thinking of a last minute Christmas shoot Monday or Wednesday is the only availability.

I'll be on my Christmas break from December 24th until January 2nd when I have shoots on the 2nd, 4th and 5th so if you'd like shoots in early January please do bear this in mind.  I will still be checking emails during my break but give me a little longer to answer won't you?  Its the only break hubby and I are both off  so we're really looking forward to a fun festive time!

2010 has been my best year in business so far, 22 weddings and 79 portrait shoots, I've met so many wonderful people and my business couldn't exist without you all.

I'm hoping to do some blog post with favourite shots from the year but I want to end with a photograph from my wedding on tuesday, these people are my type of clients.

The £99 Christmas shoot, available all the way up to Christmas Eve

With us getting right into the festive season, I'm still working hard photographing lovely families for Christmas.

I have shoots available right up to Christmas Eve, with prints being guaranteed to be with you in time for Christmas right up to next weekend.

I have 2 great offers for you all, you can either have a £99 shoot, where I'll come to your home with a black backdrop and photograph you for an hour, then process the photographs and give you them all on a disk or you can choose to pay no sitting fee (a saving of £40) and all you'll pay for are the prints.

let me share a few favourites from the last week of shooting -

I like to call this one disgruntled raindeer, still think it's uber cute

If you'd like to take me up on either of the special offers just email mandy@mandycharltonphotography.com or you can call me on 07918 121838 or click through to my website and I'll look forward to giving you photographs you'll treasure forever.

Snowy Photoshoots rock my socks! {photographer newcastle}

The snow outside might be frightful but for me it's a chance to embrace my love of snowy photographs, I'm loving it so much that I've come over all festive and with that in mind from now until Christmas all weekday photoshoots are completely free, yes no session fee, all you'll pay for is the prints, and actually my Saturday photoshoot has cancelled so if you want to take advantage of that I'm also giving away 3 sessions on Saturday and with a saving of £40 on the usual session it's would be madness not to take me up on the offer and have some glorious photographs for Christmas, if you'd like a session then drop me an email at mandy@mandycharltonphotography.com or call me on 07918 121838, you can even contact me through my website.

so on with the snowy photographs -

So whether you are big or little or madly in love, it's the perfect season for gorgeous once in a lifetime photographs
