Henrys Second Milestones Photoshoot - Wharton Park, Durham

Have you ever been to Wharton Park in Durham, it's perched on the hill right next to the train station, I had never been until Henrys mum told me thats where they wanted to do the second of 4 milestones photoshoots.

Wharton Park has the most amazing views of Durham and it's hard to believe that I didn't even know it existed, If you want a family photoshoot, perhaps thinking ahead for Christmas Presents and you live in Durham give me a call on 07918 121838 and I'll be only too happy to revisit this splendid park.

So on with the photographs -

Henry is a busy little boy, he's always on the go and I'm not entirely sure how mum keeps up with him, he certainly has boundless energy reserves.

Henry is also a deep thinking serious little boy, I think he's planning to take over the world secretly

I adore this photograph of a tender moment shared between Henry and his dad.

When he does smile and laugh though the whole world seems to light up.

being the victim of a ticklefest by mum!!

I really love this one, it's a very modern portrait which captures the love and fun this family shares and if you look in the background you'll see Durham Cathedral, see I told you it was an awesome place to shoot.

Henrys mum has seen these photographs now and I'm happy to say that she loves them but then again any photograph with this wonderful little boy in was bound to be magical.

I'll look forward to catching up with you all again in a couple of months and of course meeting the new arrival to the family :-)

Kath and Alans wedding at Linden Hall Hotel, Northumberland

My last planned wedding of the main season was one I had looked forward to since the day Kath and Alan booked me, I really truly love Kath and Alan, they are genuinely warm, lovely people and it was an honour to photograph their intimate wedding at Linden Hall,

One of my favourite bouquets this year.

Doesn't Kath Look amazing?

There were so many lovely wonderful moments during this ceremony, the registrars of Northumberland really make my job easy.

Married!!

Doesn't Kath look so completely over the moon and delighted.

Awww

One of my favourites which would look awesome on a large canvas.

Kath and Alan, you are a very special couple and you've captured a piece of my heart, I hope that you've had a wonderful time in Jersey and I can't wait to catch up with you when you get home.

Mark and Helen are Married

Indeed they are!! On Saturday I made my way to Wylam by taxi as a freakish turn of events lead to one assistants engine practically blowing up, one assistant in York and the other at the Sunderland Match and a hubby (4th back up assistant) unreachable by mobile! So I winged the 20 miles in a Taxi and covered the whole event on my own and it was lovely, and charming and wonderful all wrapped up in a teeny parcel!!

Helen is one of the most radient brides i have ever seen.

waiting at the church before walking down the aisle, she was so happy and excited, a really lovely thing to see.

Confetti-tastic!!

This moment was a candid capture with my 50-150 lens.

and this one is for Helens mum, I really love it and thanks for suggesting such a great photograph.

Helen didn't want any posed photographs but I still took them away for their 20 minute couple session, I gave minimal instructions and look at the fabulous interaction which naturally occurred

Gorgeous!

Helen and Mark, you are a wonderful couple and I hope you have the happiest life together, enjoy Italy and I'll catch up with you when you get back.

Daniel and Bridgets wedding, Prudhoe Castle

It's not strictly true that Daniel and Bridget got married at Prudhoe castle but it was definetly an important part of the day!!

So on Saturday I went off to Prudhoe to shoot a very Antipodean wedding, it was a smaller wedding booking of just 3 hours and yet we still managed to squeeze in enough to make an album, here's few of my favourites ;-

Bridgets flowers were one of the most gorgeous bouquets i've seen this season.

Isn't Bridget Beautiful?

and Daniel is quite handsome and full of Aussie charm, he's seen here with his best man who was a hoot!
after the ceremony at the very gorgeous Our Lady and St Cuthberts church in Prudhoe we went over to the castle to capture some moments, Daniel and Bridget requested this because of course they don't have castles in Australia!

It certainly was an interesting and unique place to shoot.

I love this one.

and of course this one.

After that short session we winged over to a wonderful reception at a nearby friends house, and I have to say it was a house with grounds to die for, my hubby would certainly love to do the gardening here!

and one final favourite

Daniel and Bridget, you are a wonderful couple, I hope you love these and if I ever make it on a plane to Brisbane I'll be sure to look the pair of you up :)
