Snowy Saturday

Yes well it sounds nice doesn't it and we do in fact have a little snow but still not enough to throw snowballs or make snowmen and it's just so bright and sunny at the moment I can't see us getting any more.

Just an update from yesterday now, I went to the hospital and I am scheduled for a full hysterectomy (ovaries, womb , utereus) on May 11th, I'm glad but obviously a little terrified, I am going to be in hospital for a full week so I expect that my blog entries will be sparse as apparently the hospital patient phones still haven't got internet access sorted out, they have been trying since I was in hospital giving birth to Looby and she's two and a half now!

Paul and I went to the movies last night for our weelkly date night, we went to see "The Weatherman" with Nicholas Cage, the movie was beautifully shot and some of the imagery was amazing but on the whole I just didn't get the message, perhaps it was a little too escoteric, I just don't know, it wasn't bad but then it wasn't amazingly good either, definetly a grown up movie. Maybe I'll get the message at 3am one morning but I'm just not sure what it was trying to say other than maybe that life is a little like the weather and although we can make predictions we don't actually know what's going to happen until it does.

So todays plan is that Iain is off to his friends for tea this afternoon and we have Abigail and Looby lump jumping around until they generally finish us off tonight! LOL, never mind, we have a couple of DVD's to relax when they do finally toddle off to bed, blimey look at me it's 9.30am and I'm already hoping for bedtime :)
